Helping people find the perfect place to call home is nothing new to Lisa. She has enjoyed a successful business career based on helping others find cooperative, wholesome, nurturing, productive, profitable working environments. Now she has channeled this passion to those age 55 and over undergoing transitional life changes.
Lisa’s career is highlighted by significant accomplishments in both the public and private sector, including serving as a councilwoman for the City of Santa Ana and holding the office of Chief Executive Officer for the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) where she led over 1,500 employees and managed a $600 million budget.
After leaving the public arena, Lisa entered the private sector, starting The Mills Group, an Executive Recruitment firm specializing in public sector employment. Here she enjoyed success at matching people and high-level employment opportunities within municipal governments and agencies.
Lisa has now turned her energy, skills and attention to assisting people who have completed their careers and face new life decisions. New Nest, her latest and most satisfying endeavor continues her love for helping people, by focusing on enhancing new beginnings for people facing major life transitions.
As a licensed senior real estate specialist for Century 21, Lisa focuses on residential properties in senior communities. This experience has helped her to understand that buying and selling houses is just one step in the life stage transition process. She is looking forward to working with families to help find creative, affordable solutions that will enhance the next stage of their lives.
